Are these books for children?

These books are meant for adults and high school aged teens. 

Dr. Kreeft explains in his introduction that Socrates was the first great philosopher, and these books cover many of the influential philosophers that came after him. Kreeft describes the story of philosophy as "a story of a long, long series of arguments in a very large and dysfunctional family; and Socrates is its main patriarch, so I've called it Socrates' Children."
