How does this differ from past years' Lenten Gospel Reflection books?

The Paschal Mystery is an evergreen book that can be used for the Lenten season each year. While our previous Lent books contained the Gospel and a reflection each day, this book is divided into themes for each week of Lent and the Easter Triduum and the Easter Season, with scripture, reflections, prayers, and poetry all centering around each theme. This brand-new book is also not particular to the calendar year as the previous Lent books were, so you can read and reflect upon it again next year!

This year, these Lent Reflection books are all new, with a new pricing structure as well.

First, this book is much thicker than our previous Lent books at 352 pages long! A big reason for the increased length is the fact that this book includes not only reflections for Ash Wednesday and the 5 weeks of Lent, but also for each day of Holy Week, as well as for Easter Sunday and a reflection for the Easter Season. The books also include beautiful Stations of the Cross with reflections by Bishop Barron.Another difference between previous Lent books we have offered and this book is that the reflections are set up as a weekly reflection including readings from Sacred Scripture, poems, hymns, and prayers, instead of as a daily reflection with just the Gospel of the day and a reflection. A big benefit to the new format is that this book can be reused year after year since the readings are not set to a particular calendar date or Liturgical year. The price of these books is $6.99, but that is discounted on orders of 12 or more books to price the books at $2.59 each with the discount. Given the cost to produce these books we are not able to offer any additional discounts to the already discounted $2.59 price. Shipping is calculated at checkout based on the total weight of the shipment.
