Where will this edition be printed?

Given Word on Fire’s commitment to ethical business practices, we have intentionally chosen not to manufacture our books in the People's Republic of China, even if doing so might produce a less expensive volume.

Word on Fire believes printing in China comes at too high a moral price as well. China’s government has a long and well-documented record of religious persecution, including the surveillance, harassment, and imprisonment of Catholic clergy and faithful. It also routinely violates basic human rights, including the rights to free speech, free worship, and dignified labor—rights upheld by Catholic social teaching.

In solidarity with the persecuted Church and in fidelity to the dignity of the human person, we choose to partner with printers in countries that better align with our values.
